General Is the "Remaster" trend good for the genre?

I just completed one remastered campaign and honestly the remaster trend is saving RTS to some extent l . Many younger players never touched these classics before. Without remasters, some legendary games would disappear completely. Plus not everybody can run modern games with current GPU prices. The only annoying part is when companies remaster lazily. Sharper graphics alone are not enough.

Remasters are good when developers actually respect the original game. Some companies just increase resolution and start increasing the prices of the game. The funny thing is that some 20-year-old RTS games still have that deeper gameplay than many new releases.
