Sometimes, everything just works. The roads flow smoothly, traffic isn’t a nightmare, the economy is thriving, and for once, your citizens aren’t rioting, starving, or drowning in pollution.

What’s the most perfect city or settlement you’ve ever built?
  • A massive, fully optimized metropolis in Cities: Skylines where every district functions like clockwork?
  • A supply chain masterpiece in Factorio, where every conveyor belt is perfectly balanced?
  • A self-sustaining underground colony in Oxygen Not Included, where you actually managed to keep everyone alive without suffocating?
If you’ve pulled off something incredible, share your story - or better yet, show some screenshots!

My all-time favourite City building game ever must have been SimCity 3000 that I used to play on the first ever PC I got when I was about 8 or 9. We owned a PC for about a year before we got internet access, so SimCity and similar games were my thing back then and what started me on my (relatively limited) PC gaming journey to be honest.

I spent many, many hours, days and probably weeks playing SimCity and played one save for almost the whole time I played the game - my City was truly amazing and I'm completely gutted that I don't have any old screenshots or images I can think of anywhere of it. I'd love to find that game, perhaps as an online port somewhere, one day. Memories! :D
