General What is your favorite way to defend against an early rush?

I was trying to relax yesterday and I jumped into one quick RTS game and boom, the opponent rushed my base like his life depended on it. That early rush thing can ruin the fun if you’re not ready. Now, I build my defense early and scout fast because of it. There was a time I ignored scouting and the guy wiped my whole base before my economy even started. Some people say rushing is the standard strategy, but honestly sometimes it just doesn't work well sometimes.

Early rush strategies can definitely ruin a game if you’re not ready. And the biggest lesson I learned was scouting early. Once you see what your opponent is doing, you can adjust quickly. The mistake many players make is focusing only on their own build order and ignoring what the opponent is doing. That’s usually when the surprise rush happens.
