General What Do You Usually Do First in a New Minecraft World?

Whenever I start a new Minecraft world, I usually spend the first day collecting basic resources and looking for a good place to settle. Sometimes I find a nice location right away, and other times I end up wandering around for ages before deciding where to build.

I’m curious what everyone else usually does first. Do you focus on getting food and tools, finding a village, exploring, or building a small starter base?
