Intro Scotsman

Hello!

Thought I would properly introduce myself, I am Michael aka Scotsman (a name that has stuck from playing C&C Generals for years... and years).

I am a big RTS fan. As of right now I am playing mostly Warhammer Total War 3, Warhammer Shadow of the Horned Rat, Generals, or Stronghold Remaster!

I also have 0 time for playing really, I have a 6 year old daughter, work in a warehouse a few days a week, I'm an artist allegedly (paint and sculpture mostly), and I am also making my own unannounced RTS game in unreal engine with 0 idea what I'm doing... following tutorials and winging it.

I really do not like AI personally but won't crazy fight you about it, fully in support of righteous causes, RTS games, and communities...

I have volunteered over at GameReplays for the past 20 odd years trying to keep the old C&C Generals community alive with tournaments and events, that probably covers most of it. It's a pleasure to interact with fellow RTS lovers.

Hello! Welcome. Scotsman as a handle is peak originality. Haha. Thanks for taking the time to join us. I'm pretty much the same as you. I have zero time for playing too, although I do try to fit something in.

Was many long years that I was just working away in distribution without any creativity or gaming, so things have been heading in the right direction the last few years. I’d say I owe that to my daughter, was a wakeup call! I hope one day I’m in a position to do that and I will, thanks!
