Sanctuary: Shattered Sun is real-time strategy on a grand scale, introducing never before seen mechanics such as earth-cracking superweapons and dynamic, map altering weather control. Freeze the ocean—and then drive your army over it, right into the heart of your enemy’s base!

This fight for survival and supremacy takes place on the eponymous Sanctuary itself, a visually spectacular Dyson Sphere – a gargantuan, man-made structure that encircles the entire sun.

Sanctuary is for classic RTS lovers. Build a base, gather resources, and amass an army to face your enemies.

Sanctuary has scale. Command armies of hundreds of units, titanic war machines, and crush forests underfoot.

Sanctuary has depth. There are tech levels, large unit rosters, a flow economy, game mechanics like drone swarms, and much more.

Sanctuary is not about APM. Focus on grand strategy, not endless clicking. Create construction queues, save your favourite base layouts as templates, and issue orders to units still in production.

Freezing the oceans just to drive armies across sounds like proper RTS game. That kind of style have always fascinated me since the days of Supreme Commander. The environmental mechanics can completely change the battlefield. Imagine controlling the weather to trap your enemy armies or block the resource routes. That kind of feature could create insane strategies.
