General Is "Automated Scouting" a good feature for beginners?

I watched some RTS gameplay and I think automated scouting is actually good for beginners. Not everyone has the energy to monitor twenty things at once. Some people are still learning about the unit counters and base building.

I think automated scouting is fine at the beginning but players shouldn't depend on it forever. That's like using calculator for every simple maths question you come across. It helps you learn, but eventually you need to understand what's happening yourself.
