Tactical Speedbump
The gameplay comes first before the story. If the strategy is weak, no amount of emotional cutscene can save it. I learned that the hard way after buying one hyped RTS during Steam sale. The story was sounding like Netflix series but the gameplay was poor. Still, I wont lie, a good story adds serious flavor. Especially when the missions actually make sense emotionally. That kind of attachment keeps you playing.
