Pathfinding Disaster
I just finished one TBS game last week and the small story between battles actually hooked me. Everything is not all about the fight. That story gave the game meaning. Even if there is an interruption, you still remember the flow compared to those with just plain battles. That storytelling is great and it carries you along. Sometimes we just need that small narrative escape. Not too long, just enough to make sense. I like that kind of balance.
