Looks like Respawn and Bit Reactor’s turn-based Star Wars game is starting to leak ahead of the official reveal on April 19. Screenshots from a 2023 build just hit the web, giving us an early look at what’s coming.
This one’s squad-based, isometric, and clearly built with XCOM fans in mind. The leaked shots show two Mandalorians and a tactical droid in a shootout with Stormtroopers during a prisoner extraction. UI elements show gear like thermal detonators, deployable mini-droids, and a handful of early menus.
One screen shows a central hub called the Kafrene Mining Colony, with areas like the Armory, Holo Table, Special Ops, and Black Market. So yeah—looks like they’re aiming for decent depth on the strategic layer too.
No confirmation yet on platforms, but expect it on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Switch 2 version might be in the works too, if that ever materialises.
