General Is "Scouting" the most underrated skill in strategy?

Most people just focus on building huge armies without checking what the enemy is even doing. I learned this the hard way during Age of Empires match some years ago. A friend was quietly massing cavalry while i was there feeling like tactical genius. But now? I scout constantly.

Scouting is not underrated, it's actually one of the biggest reasons people win. Plenty of players focus on their own base like they don't have an opponent at all. I learnt that lesson the hard way years back.
