Bronze Age Strategist
The unit design can make or break an RTS game. When each unit gets a clear role, the whole strategy would be so meaningful. Not just doing the same thing over and over. I also enjoy those moments where one well-used unit just changes the entire battle, that kind of satisfaction is different. It shows that the game design actually respects the players. If the units is not balanced or too similar, the gameplay will feel flat no matter how beautiful the graphics is.
