Pathfinding Disaster
The so-called “hero units” are just developers trying to impress lazy players. I remembered a game where a single hero was doing the work of an entire army. It was very realistic indeed, in fact too realistic for my liking. Strategy games should be about systems, not one overhyped champion running around like a Hollywood savior.
It makes it look like a movie, not a strategy. Strategy is suppose to be all about planning and coordination, not like one person fixing everything overnight.
